comments: Married with 5 grown children. I was Launcher Platoon Leader for B Btry,
6/52 from activation through initial unit training at Ft. Bliss. My active duty time
left was too short to ship out to Bamberg with B Btry, so I was left behind at Ft.
Bliss and assigned as Section Leader for the Testing & Evaluation Team at 2nd GM
Group until my active duty ended in May, 1962. This last assignment involved my being Range Safety Officer for a lot of Hawk firings at McGregor Range.
